Evelyn Hammond, 85, of Muncie, departed this life on Monday, January 10, 2011.
She was the daughter of Watt and Esther Harris born February 17, 1925, in Athens, Alabama.
Surviving are her sons, William (Mary) Hammond and Michael (Vickie) Hammond; daughters, Carolyn Garrett and Margaret Hammond all of Muncie; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Hammond; sons, Larry Hammond, Sr. and Douglas Hammond; parents, Watt and Esther Harris and grandsons, Timothy Hammond and Steven Wade.
Funeral service is 12 noon Monday, January 17, 2011 at True Vine Holiness Tabernacle, with visitation one hour prior.
Burial in Gardens Of Memory Cemetery.
