Evelyn F. Harris, 87, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2009.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one sister, Gladys Sweatt of Muncie; one grandson, LaKim Yazid; one great-granddaughter, Ayanna Yazid; a special nephew, Gregory Powers; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Harris; her parents, John W. and Christine Henderson; one daughter, Joyce Marie Greene; two brothers, Earl Henderson and John Edward Henderson.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday October 3, 2009 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Edward Long will be officiating.
Calling hours will be Saturday October 3, 2009 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 N. State Rd 3, Muncie, IN.
