Evelyn Colby Taylor, 92, of Muncie passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018.  She was born on April 4, 1926, in Waterman, Illinois.  She was preceded in death by her husband Russell V. Taylor, her parents, Charles and Ada Colby, her two sisters, Rebecca and Lorraine and her two brothers, Robert and John.  Evelyn is survived by her four children, son Charles (Pat) of Dayton, Ohio, son Terry of Muncie, son Randy (Lesley) of Noblesville, and daughter Kristy Eller (John) of Yorktown, as well as 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Evelyn worked for a number of years selling cosmetics for the Collegienne Shops, L.S. Ayres, and Macy's in Muncie.  She loved to travel and enjoyed attending local cultural events as well as growing beautiful flowers around her home and yard.  Evelyn enjoyed raising her four children and loved family get-togethers with children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
