Evelyn L. Tuttle, 78, of Muncie, IN died Monday March 17, 2008 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born on January 5, 1930 in Sullivan County, Indiana the daughter of Osa E. and Naoma (Quakenbush) Parks. She graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1948. On July 26, 1952 in Muncie, IN she married James Tuttle who survives.
She loved the outdoors and whenever she could, she was enjoying her backyard with her dog summer. She enjoyed Spring and spending time on her front porch. She loved nature.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, James Tuttle of Muncie; two daughters, Cindy Shaw (Carl) of Muncie, IN, Cheryl Terrell (Dan) of Muncie, IN; one son, Terry Tuttle (Alena) of Indianapolis, IN; eight grandchildren, Adam Terrell, David Terrell, Lisa Shaw, Chris Shaw, James Robertson, Stacy Johnson, Skylar Tuttle, Adriane Tuttle; two great-grandsons, Christopher and Keeton Shaw; three sisters, June Lyons of Ohio, Patsy Youngkin of Muncie, Beverly Brunelle of Ohio. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday March 20, 2008 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Pastor Doug Blake and Pastor Joe Ruberg will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
