Fern Bolding, 89, of Muncie, IN went to be with the Lord on Thursday October 2, 2008 at the Willow Bend Living Center in Muncie. She was born on October 14, 1918 in Linton, IN the daughter of Israel and Ursula "Sula" Ann (Taylor) Williams, both of Martin County, Indiana
Mrs. Bolding moved to Muncie with her husband James R. Bolding in 1948 where they owned and operated J & J Welding. James preceded her in death in 1978. Fern was a member of the Mayfield Nazarene Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She later attended the Body of Christ Church in Muncie and Hazel Wood Christian Church. Fern Loved living in the country and taking drives in the country. She was a very kind and gentle woman that loved her family and accepted the Lord as her savior many years ago.
Surviving relatives include her son; James Dean Bolding Sr.of Muncie, two granddaughters; and Kelli Burelison of Winchester, Sue Ann Rains (husband Tom) of Muncie, a brother Ermal Williams (wife Muriel) of Muncie, six great grandchildren, Kailyn Burelison, Brooks Burelison, Lindsey Bolding, Tyler Barton, Cheyenne Rains and Brittany Jones and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, Ralph, Cecil, James and Roy Williams and grandson, James D. Bolding Jr.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday October 8, 2008 At the Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, Indiana, 47303. Pastor Kevin Klassen will officiate the service. Viewing will be on Wednesday October 8, 2008 from 1:30p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie.
