Ferne Ramona Irelan, 87, of Redkey died late Saturday evening, February 27th, 2016 at her residence. She was born August 14th, 1928 in Ottertail, MN and was the daughter of the late James Gordan & Amelia (Burmeister) McLeod.
Ferne loved caring for and being with her family. She enjoyed canning, crocheting and listening to Country Music CD''s. Ferne retired from Kerr Glass after 35 years of service.
Ferne is survived by her daughter Roxanne McCowan (Lawrence) of Redkey; six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Perry B. Irelan; a son Danny R. Fuller and nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services for Ferne will be held Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Oliver McCowan officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m
