Filip Ray Corey of Eaton, Indiana passed away at the age of 65 at his residence late Friday, September 24, 2021. He was born in Muncie, Indiana on January 1, 1956 to Raymond Dale and Jane (Petty) Corey.

Filip was a 1974 graduate of Wapahani High School. He worked in skilled trades for General Motors in Fort Wayne, Indiana for 31 years. He was a Free Mason Member of Whitney Lodge #229. He had previously been a member of Sons of American Legion. He was an active board member at Frank Merry Park in Dunkirk, Indiana. He enjoyed spending time fishing, throwing frisbee with his dog, Tucker, and with his family and friends.

Filip is survived by his mother, Jane (Petty) Corey of Florida; two sons, Filip Corey (Alison) of Alabama and Joshua Corey of Muncie, Indiana; one daughter, Mandy Gray (Bobby) of Murray, Kentucky; two brothers, Brent Corey (Susan) of Florida and Bruce Corey (Debbie) of Selma, Indiana; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Filip was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Dale Corey; one brother, Steven Corey; and one sister, Judy Myers.
