Florence M. Campbell, 89, passed away at 4:25 p.m., Tuesday, September 22, 2009 while in the company of family members at Parker Health & Rehabilitation Center, Parker City, in Randolph County.
Florence was born in Redkey, IN on March 8, 1920, a daughter of the late Blanch (Olvey) and Clarence Curtis.
She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church Dunkirk, IN. She retired as a laborer at Kerr after thirty years then traveled the country.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Campbell; a daughter, Christine (Steve) Richardson, of Indianapolis, IN; three sons, Dean L. (Shirley) Campbell, of Lexington, SC, Dana L. (Wanda) Campbell, of Witcha Tall Falls, TX, Duane A. (Bertha) Campbell, of Muncie, IN; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Clara Guthrie, of Winchester, IN, and Carrie Thomas, of Ft. Wayne, IN.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Calvary U.M.C., Dunkirk, IN, with Pastor Chris Nelson and Pastor Gary Phillips officiating.
Friends are invited to call 5-7 p.m. Thursday at MJS Mortuaries, Dunkirk .
Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 N. State Rd 3, Muncie, IN.
