Frances 'Fran' Rodgers, 82, of Muncie, went to be with The Lord peacefully, at Elmcroft Memory Care on September 22, 2018.   Fran was born in Dyersburg, TN, the daughter of James and Elaine Hollingsworth.  She moved to Eaton, IN, at the age of 12.

Fran was employed at Eaton Elementary School for 10 years.  She was the owner of Mode-O-Day Dress Shop.  She was also a Sunday school teacher for many years and attended the North Delaware Baptist Church for over 40 years.

Fran is survived by her husband, Amos Rodgers, of 64 years; daughter Mitzi (Steve) Thames; son Brad (Shelli) Rodgers; daughter Karen Lewis; brother Tom (Linda) Hollingsworth; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Joseph Andrew Rodgers.

Memorial contributions in Fran's memory may be made to Elmcroft Memory Care Unit in care of Activities, 1601 North Morrison, Muncie, IN  47304.

Very special thanks to both Elmcroft Memory Care and Southern Care Hospice for Fran's care.  There will be a private burial following the services at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
