Frances M. Stephenson (Glaze), 95, of Muncie, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021. She was born on July 6, 1926 in Yorktown, Indiana to Harvey H. and Eula Miller.

Frances married Paul E. Glaze in 1944, and they were married for 45 years until Paul's passing in May of 1989. Frances later married William Stephenson in 1994 and was married until his passing in 2006. She was a lifetime member of the East 16th Church of God. She dearly loved singing with her two brothers and sister-in-law at church and singing in the church choir. When she was younger, she loved working with the children's church. She loved cooking and baking and was also a great seamstress and loved sewing for family and friends. She also loved making quilts.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Dr. Colleen L. Phillips; son, Philip D. Glaze (Jane Ann); brother, Robert Miller; sister, JoEllen Glaze (Ed); two grandchildren, Emily Johnson and Brock Glaze (Alisa); and four great grandchildren, Rudy, Eowyn, Jordana, and Indiana Glaze.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey H. and Eula Miller; husbands, Paul Glaze and William Stephenson; and brothers, Carl Miller, Herbert Miller, and Charles Miller.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM in Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie with funeral services immediately following at 2:00 PM, also in the Funeral Home, officiated by Douglas Lucy. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the East 16th St. Church of God (Heating System Fund), 2605 East 16th Street, Muncie, Indiana, 47302.
