Francis Kendall Holt's Obituary
Francis Kendall Holt, 96, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Westminster Village where he had lived since 2001.
Mr. Holt was born July 11, 1911 in Muncie to Elmer & Ora (Jones) Holt. He was a graduate of Muncie Central High School. He resided in Muncie his entire life except from 1981-1994 when he lived in Anderson. Francis retired from Warner Gear in 1972 after 36 years of service.
He is survived by son Donald R. (Donna Deane) Holt, Gallatin, TN, former son-in-law Doyle Withers; 6 grandchildren, Scott (Janel) Holt, Gallatin, TN; Jeffrey (Rhonda) Holt, Hendersonville, TN, Daryl (Susan) Holt, Gallatin, TN; Lori (Aaron) Beaty Upchurch, Shreveport, LA, Michael Beaty, Daleville, IN; Brian (Tammie) Beaty, Coweta, OK; 3 step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Francis was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Pauline Clawson Holt who passed away December 26, 2007; daughter, Carol Joan Withers, brothers Edgar, James, Paul and Charles Holt, and sisters, Ethel Holt, Verna Harris, Julia Day and Marjorie Zorsky.
Funeral Services will be held at the Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 North State Road 3, Muncie on Monday, April 7, at 2:00 pm; officiated by the Rev. William Soetenga. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory in Muncie. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Garden View Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to Park Place Church of God, 501 College Drive, Anderson, IN 46102.
