Frank Delano Conwell, 67, of Muncie, passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 16th, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital in Winchester, following an extended illness. He was born June 21st, 1945 in Terre Haute, IN and was the son of the late Harry Sr. & Neva (Bright) Conwell.
Frank was employed by Lift-A- Loft as a welder for ten years, and Metropolitan Environmental as a truck driver for thirteen and half years. He was owner/operator of Conwell Trucking, and a lifetime member of OOIDA (Owner/Operator Independent Drivers Association). He loved to fish and enjoyed spending his weekend''s pontooning.
Frank is survived by his wife Georgia (King) Conwell; two sons David (Krista) Conwell, Kreg (Karen) Conwell; two daughters, Rebecca (David) Jones, and Barbara Jean (B.J.) Conwell; five grandchildren, Morgan (Kevin, Jr.) Noble, Kathleen (David) McKee, Amanda (Jessie) York, Misty (Jon) McClain, Jamie (Kayla) Jones; nine great-grandchildren, Marina and Summer Noble, Amelia , Annabelle, and David (Little David) McKee, Jace and Macie York, Alayna McClain, and Addalyn Jones; one sister Sheila McCarey; two brothers, Max (Ella) Conwell, and Mike (Cindy) Conwell; two step brothers, Jim (Faye) Geisman and Sam (Sue) Geisman; one step-sister, Sally; five sister-in-laws Doris Conwell, Diane Conwell, Terry Conwell, Dean King, and Bonnie; two brother-in-laws, Bill Brown, and Eldred King. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-mother Jessie (Geisman) Conwell; two sisters Sue (Dave) Barton, and Sharon Conwell; brothers Harry (Joyce) Conwell Jr., Bill Conwell, Danny Conwell, and Bob Conwell; brothers-in-law, Arch (Iva) King, Denton King, and Arnold King.
Funeral Services for Frank will be held, Friday, April 19th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. Pastor Michael DeCamp will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call Thursday, April 18th, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
