Obituary

Frank Ray Resler, 76, passed away early Monday morning December 28, 2009 at Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
Frank was born in Muncie on October 19, 1933 the son of Hobart and Bertha (Swartz) Resler and attended Royerton Schools.
Mr. Resler worked for fifteen years with Herb Elton Painting. He was also employed with Ball State University for many years before his retirement in 1998. Frank was a kind and gentle soul, and he was a friend to everyone he met.
Frank was an avid camper and fisherman. His number one favorite place in the world to be was in his boat out on Black Lake in Onaway, Michigan.
Survivors include a son, Tom Resler Sr., Muncie; a daughter, Michelle Reinke, Muncie; a sister, Lela True, (husband, Ed), Muncie; five grandchildren, Scott and Natalie Reinke both of Muncie, Thomas Resler Jr., Muncie, Billy Ray Resler, Nebraska, and John Thomas Resler, Nebraska; three special friends, Juanita Beal, Alma Michigan, Pat Benner, Sheppard, Michigan and Radoica Rutovic, Hammond; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of forty years, Letha B. (Beal) Resler; three brothers, Morris Resler, Jerald Resler and Charles Resler; two sisters, Wilma Marsh and Jean Winchester.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 4, 2010 at Saint Lawrence Catholic Church with Father Dennis Goth officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery North of Muncie.
Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Parson Mortuary.
