Freda Audrey Wallen, 92, of Muncie died early Wednesday morning at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. She was born August 20th, 1919, in Greenville Ohio, and was the daughter of the late William & Jennie (Penrod) Evans. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother, who enjoyed candle wicking, reading, and baking cakes and pies for her family. Freda worked along side her son James running Bernie Lee''s Pizza for many years. She attended Full Gospel Church. Freda is survived by two sons; William (Janie) Sherwood of Arkansas , James True of Muncie; eight grandchildren, Tim (Robin) Cross, Tom (fiance Benita) Cross, Tracy Cross, Trent (Kathy) Cross, Jeff (Regina) Sherwood, Eric Sherwood, Anthony (Amie) Davis, and Steven Neal; 14 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; two nieces Lorena Hazlett and Violet (Jay) Newman; two nephews, Aicy and James Evans; Special Friend Walt Pierce. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Bernard True, and second husband Bob Wallen; two daughters Beverly Sherwood and Joni Hayden; special friend George Mayo; four brothers; a granddaughter-in-law Shelley Cross. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 5th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Friends and Family may call Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
