Frederick "Andy" Duane Anderson, 82, of Muncie died early Tuesday morning, September 20th, 2016 at his residence. He was born April 29th, 1934 in Muncie and was the son of the late Fred & Vertie (Tompkins) Anderson.
Andy retired from Warner Gear in 1992 after 40 years of dedicated service. He proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Airforce. Andy attended Muncie Central High School. He loved being with and caring for his family, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, and being on their farm in Tennessee.
Andy is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, whom he married June 15th, 1957 in Richmond, IN Chrystaline (Tackett) Anderson of Muncie; two daughters Vera Berger (Jeff) and Rhonda Boling (Daniel) both of Muncie; four grandchildren Matthew Berger (Tara) of Gaston, Jeremy Boling, Jessica Boling, and Skylar Berger all of Muncie; three great-grandchildren Camden and Kyeson Berger of Gaston and Caroline Lacey of Muncie; extended family Cynda Stults; a special friend Clare Wilson.
Funeral Services for Andy will be held Friday, September 23rd, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial with military honors being conducted by the United States Air Force and the Delaware County Honor Guard will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
