Frederick W. Wyman, 78 of Muncie passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025. He was born to the late Robert F. and Stella M. Wyman.

Fred was a United States Army Combat Veteran. He was an advocate for other veterans. He was a member of VFW Post 651, DAV Chapter 25, Amvets Post 12, Vietnam Veterans of Delaware County where he served as the Post president, United Veterans of Delaware County, where he served as a member of the Board of Directors, and a member of the Congressional Veterans Council.

Fred was a member of the University Christian Church in Muncie. He had many hobbies, working on older cars and lawnmowers, Fred was known as a backyard mechanic. In his retirement years he enjoyed making knit hats for Operation Christmas Child and the Muncie Mission.  He loved to go racing with family and friends. Fred was also a Reserve Deputy for Delaware County Sheriff's office.

Fred is survived by his wife Netha; two sons Justin (Tricia) and Brad (Sarah) Wyman; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; siblings Jim (Pat) Wyman, Ben (Nancy) Wyman and Ken (Robbie) Wyman. He is proceeded in death by both parents and siblings Betty Hammond, Pamela Wyman, Robert Wyman and Forrest Woody Wyman.

Visitation will be Friday, December 5, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of service at Garden View Funeral Home. Fred's services will begin at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest with full military honors at Gardens of Memory.
