Freida B. Clevenger, 78, of Albany, passed away Wednesday April 23, 2014 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.

Freida was born August 13, 1935 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Harry and Mary Ellen Jones. She graduated from Muncie Central High School and spent her life as a homemaker raising her three children. Freida enjoyed painting and puzzles. She was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Freida is survived by her three children, Sue Turner, (husband Jack) of Angola, Jerry Clevenger (wife Pamela) of Albany, and Tony Clevenger (wife Debra) of Tennessee; a sister, Norma Jones of Muncie; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Freida was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Marvin Clevenger; and a brother, Max Jones.

A funeral service to celebrate Freida''s life will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather to share and remember two hours prior to services Saturday, from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Garden View Funeral Home.
