Gary Lee Casada, 80, of Hartford City, passed away on June 27, 2020 at Bridgewater Rehabilitation Center.   He was born on September 27, 1939 to Orval Marshall and Lola Frances (Jerrelles) Casada.

Gary married Dixie Diane (White) Valentine on October 4, 1968.  Gary worked at Chevrolet-Muncie for 30 years before retiring.  He was an avid fisherman, loved shooting guns, buying cars, and spending quality time with friends.

Gary is survived by his children: Twylia (Kenneth) Miller, Connie Horuani, Darlene Casada, Gary Casada, and Judy Valentine; brother, Jim (Paulette Sue) Casada; and several grandchildren.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; recently, his wife of 52 years, Dixie Casada; brothers: Ronald Casada and Marshall Casada; and children: Roxanna Casada, Rodney Valentine, and Lex Valentine.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. in Garden View Funeral Home , 10501 N. State Road 3, Muncie, with the funeral service immediately following at 2:00 p.m., also in the Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made to the family by visiting www.gardenviewandgardensofmemory.com .
