Gary Lee Faulkner, 78 of Muncie, Passed away at Willowbend Nursing Center, Monday December 19,2016.
Gary was born to Robert and Helen ( Dejarnet) Faulkner November 21, 1938, in Muncie.
Gary served for the U.S. Marines from 1958-1962. After his military service he became a shipping clerk for Warner Gear, and retired after 35 years. After his retirement, Gray''s love for baseball cards lead him to open a shop in Muncie called All Star Cards. Gary was a member of The American Legion- Farmland, Eagles, V.F.W. of Muncie, and The Knights of Pythias- Yorktown.
Gary is survived by his life companion of over 20 years, Barbara Crump, his stepchildren; Angela Crump- husband Greg, James Crump- wife Debbie, and Debbie Wright- husband Scott, several special nieces and nephews and many grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Gary was proceeded in death by his wife Josephine Ann Faulkner (Conner), two brothers; Jim Faulkner and Roger Faulkner, two sisters Janie Peavler and Betty Clevenger.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Garden View Funeral Home. Friends may call from 12:00 Tuesday until time of service. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family would like to send a special thank you to the nursing staff at Willowbend Nursing Home for their gracious care of Gary. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Nursing Home.
