Georgia Lavern Coffman, 79, of Greenfield, died late Sunday evening September 27th, 2015 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born October 20th, 1935 in Indianapolis and was the daughter of the late Edward Sr. & Frances (Beckenball) Moore.
Georgia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family especially her grandchildren. Georgia was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Georgia is survived by her two children Patti Colwell of Greenfield and Mike Coffman of Indianapolis; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a sister Elizabeth Seipel of Georgia; a niece Linda Seipel Menendez of Georgia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Walter Coffman ; a son Walter Vern Coffman and a brother Edward Moore Jr..
Funeral Services for Georgia will be held Wednesday, October 7th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 1610 South State Street, Greenfield with Associate Pastor Tommy Hensley Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. till the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
