It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Gladda Davis, born July 29th, 1948, who departed from this world on May 19th, 2023.  She touched the lives of so many with her compassion and unwavering spirit.  While known for her charisma, it is impossible to ignore the fiery side of Gladda Davis.  She possessed a strong will and a determination that fueled her passions.  She had many interests, including bingo, various computer games, fur babies, movies/tv shows, and her grandchildren.
Gladda Davis was preceded in death by Roger Davis (husband), Jewell and Everett Smith (Mother/Father), Opal Uptegraff (Sister), and two sons, Jerry and Robert Johnson.  She leaves behind three siblings, Shirley Richards, Bill Smith (Wife, Kathy Smith), and Jeff Smith; Three sons, Danny Johnson, Ronnie Johnson, and Roger Johnson (wife, Katiena Johnson); Lillian Watters (cousin); Five grandchildren Courtnie Johnson-Darr (husband, Joshua Darr), Felicia Schad (husband, Shaun Schad), Destini Johnson, Dustin Johnson (Jordan Johnson-Davis), and Ashley Johnson (Andrew Roberts); and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
Gladda Davis's journey has come to an end, but her memory will forever be etched in our hearts.
A private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
