Obituary

Gladys Mae Mullins left our world Tuesday, September 18, 2007 to join her loving husband and soulmate, Alfred. She passed away at the home of her daughter and son-in-law.
She was born July 12, 1921 in Jackson County, West Virginia.
Gladys was a homemaker and lived all her adult life in Muncie. She attended Old Town Hill Southern Baptist Church before becoming ill. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 104, Muncie. Gladys volunteered with the RSVP and made over 1000 Teddy Bears over the years for them. She bowled the last 40 years in leagues in the area.
She will be sadly missed by her family, daughter Patricia Lance (husband: Richard) of Muncie; a sister, Betty Oxley (husband: Noah) of Charleston, WVA; four grandchildren, Angie Cole (husband: Jim); Rick Lance II (wife: Charity); Tami and Mindy Lance, all of Muncie; four great grandchildren, Kaine Lance, Richard Lance III, Haylie Lance, and Maela Cole, all of Muncie; several nieces and nephews, of Charleston, WVA.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred; sister Barbara; brothers Carl, Otho, John, and her parents.
Services will be Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Pastor Mike Ashby will officiate. Entombment will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
