Glen G. Hopper of Muncie, Indiana, passed away at the age of 93 the afternoon of Thursday, September 9, 2021. He was born on November 15, 1927 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Clarence and Edna (Vorhees) Hopper.

Glen graduated in 1946 from Muncie Central High School in Muncie, Indiana. He worked at Borg Warner for over 30 years until his retirement. He then worked as a courier for First Merchants Bank for several years. He married Alberta C. Boles in Muncie on July 2, 1950. Glen was an outgoing man who never met a stranger. He enjoyed refinishing furniture and cheering on his Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds.

Glen is survived by his wife of 71 years, Alberta C. (Boles) Hopper of Muncie, Indiana; one son, Rick Hopper (Jayne) of Muncie, Indiana; one daughter, Nancy J. Hopper of Muncie, Indiana; three grandchildren, Michele Stark (Jason), Eli Wilson (Brooke), and Ike Wilson, all of Muncie, Indiana; ten great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Edna (Vorhees) Hopper; one brother, Clarence Hopper, Jr.; and one sister, Olive June Thorpe.

Private services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Garden View Funeral Home and Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Fountain Square United Methodist Church, 4405 S. Madison Street, Muncie, Indiana 47302.
