Glenda Faye Pierce, 63, of Anderson, died Wednesday afternoon, November 27th, 2013 at Community Hospital of Anderson. She was born December 25th, 1949 in Muncie and was the daughter of the late Otis Hill and Hazel (Cooper) Suttles.
Glenda retired from the Department of Finance, as a finance clerk at Ft. Benjamin Harrison. She had attended Redeemer Baptist Church in Anderson. Glenda was a devoted mother and grandmother, who loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed baking, and giving homemade bake goods to family and friends during the Christmas Holidays.
She is survived by her two children, Ed Pierce (Shellie) of Portage, IN, and Amy Brown (Isaac) of Anderson; three grandchildren, Jacob, Abigail, and Zion Pierce of Portage, IN; a brother Ed Hill (Jo Ann) of Lake Wells, FL; one niece and two nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-father David Suttles.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 6th, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. at the Redeemer Baptist Church, 3230 Lindberg Road, Anderson, IN 46012, with Pastor Brad Storm officiating.Memorial Contributions may be made to Redeemer Baptist Church in ANderson. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Muncie. The family wish to express a heart felt thanks to ManorCare of Anderson for their wonderful care given Glenda.
