Gloria Duncan, age 84, passed away in Farmland, Indiana on December 2, 2023.  She was born on April 4, 1939 in Muncie, Indiana and was the daughter of Forrest "Dutch" and Mary "Walsh" Reason.
Gloria loved going to the senior citizen center for music, to dance, and to be with her friends.  She loved to travel to the Great Smoky Mountains, which she called "God's Country", to spend time with her family and to enjoy the beautiful scenery around her.
Later in life, Gloria loved to tend to her garden, can the fruit that resulted from her hard work, ride the lawn mower to keep the grass under control, and to spend time outdoors in general.  Born a city girl, she also converted to farm life and loved it very much.  She loved witnessing the birth of pigs and following them through the life cycle from birth, growth, and to market.
Gloria is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Duncan; daughters, Jo (partner, Art) Gooding and Lisa (Craig) Reeder; several nieces and nephews, five grandchildren; Dorinda (Nicholas), Austin Riles, Danielle Reeder, and Jacob and Jordan Duncan; and five great-grandchildren, Makenna and Caleb Krejci, and Brielle, Penelope,  and Lynnlee Duncan.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest "Dutch" Reason and Mary "Walsh" Reason; Son, Brian Duncan; four brothers, Charles (Chuck) Reason, Robert (Bob) Reason, James (Jim) Reason, and Thomas (Tom) Reason; two sisters, Betty (Reason) Conner and Eleanor (Reason) Carney.
Visitation will be held at Garden View Funeral Home on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.  A funeral service will take place after the visitation at 1:00 PM and will be officiated by Dr. Rusty Clements.  Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery after the funeral service.
