Gloria Ann Berry, 85, of Muncie, died late Thursday morning, November 15th, 2012 at Albany Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born, January 24th, 1927 in New Castle, IN. and was the daughter of the late Leonard H. & Mary (Fulton) McCormack.
Gloria was a member of the Red Hat & Purple Dress Society and the Royerton Homemakers Club.She loved to garden, raise flowers, sewing, cross stitching, and refurbishing antiques. Gloria loved to attend her grandchildren''s functions. She was an excellent homemaker that loved to care and be with her family. She was a member of the former Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Robert Moore Berry of Muncie; four children, Sally Childes ( companion Tim) of Indianapolis, Sandra Hedge (Larry) of Eaton, Dan Berry (Beverly) of Eaton, and Sam Berry (Nancy) of Hartford City; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great- grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; a sister, Marilyn Moore of Yorktown. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Connie Barnett in 2003, a granddaughter Christy Rice, and a great-grandson Taylor Chalfunt.
Funeral Services for Gloria will be held Monday, November 19th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and Friends may call Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Memorial Contributions can be made to an organization of the donor''s choice.
