Gwenda Lee Hill, 81, of Noblesville and formally of Yorktown, died Wednesday morning, November 28th, 2012 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. She was born January 20th, 1931 in Yamacraw, KY. and was the daughter of the late Gilbert Lee & Emma B. (Koger) Tucker.
Gwenda retired from General Motors after 40 plus years as a supervisor. She was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching.
She is survived by her nine children, Dan (Debbie) Hill, Kathy (Dennis) Nixon, Mike (Terri) Hill, Sue Hill, Randy Hill, Patricia (Denny) Woodring, Kenna (JP) Mililli, Ralph Jr. (Gloria) Hill, and Jeannie (Fernado) Benavides; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one on the way; three brothers James, Blaine, and Gary Tucker; three sisters Ann Nevels, Genevieve Kingsolver, and Barbara Johnson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Hill in May of 2005, and a brother Clifford Tucker.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 1st , 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Brian Daily officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Saturday. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer''s Association with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
