Hannah Noelle Rapp, 26, beloved fiancée, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, aunt, teammate, and friend, was called home by God on July 18, 2026. Though her time on earth was far too short, the light she brought into the lives of others will continue to shine through her legacy of kindness, positivity, hard work, and her wonderfully quirky sense of humor. In her 26 years, Hannah packed more life, love, and adventure into her time on earth than many do in a lifetime. Though she is gone, the light she shared with the world will continue to shine through her enduring legacy.

A 2018 graduate of Yorktown High School in Yorktown, Indiana, Hannah was a gifted student athlete who competed in basketball, cross country, soccer, and track and field. Under Coach Jared Turner, Hannah excelled in the 300-meter hurdles, earning distinction as a two-time IHSAA Track and Field state podium finisher while setting three school records at Yorktown High School. A multiple-time All-County and All-Conference athlete, Hannah was also a member of the 2017 Yorktown girls cross country team—the only team in school history to win the conference, IHSAA sectional, and IHSAA regional championships in the same season.

Hannah continued her education and athletic career at Purdue University, where she competed in track and field and was an active member of Purdue Ultimate Frisbee. She graduated in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in environmental and ecological engineering and a minor in political science.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Hannah faced one of the greatest challenges of her life as she battled an eating disorder. Her courage led her to Selah House, where she spent four months in residential treatment. There, she formed deep and lasting friendships that she cherished for the rest of her life. Hannah's warmth, unique humor, and generous spirit left a lasting impression on fellow residents and staff alike. She was especially remembered for her unforgettable enthusiasm in transforming the residence with elaborate President's Day decorations, bringing laughter, joy, and light to those around her during a difficult season.

Overcoming an eating disorder inspired Hannah to become an advocate for mental health while discovering another passion—boxing. She began training with Triumph Boxing in Indianapolis before joining Dark Side Boxing Club in Lafayette, where she trained under Coach Connor Mitton and made her professional debut in 2024.

After graduation, Hannah worked for the dear friend and mentor Robin Ridgway’s Hazardous Materials Team at Purdue where her thirst for knowledge, focus, and cheerful nature was core to the team's camaraderie and where she built strong friendships. It was during this time that she was trying out for the Olympics and then moved to her first professional fights. Her coworkers at Purdue would host "watch parties" to cheer their boxer on.

After relocating to College Station in 2024, Hannah and fiancé Will both found jobs at Texas A&M, him teaching civil engineering and her working for the Environmental Health and Safety team.

Hannah found a second home at Bryan Boxing in Bryan, training under Coach Carl Perry, where she quickly established herself as one of the sport's brightest rising stars. She compiled an impressive 8-1-1 professional record, captured the WBC-NABF Featherweight Championship, and earned the opportunity to challenge Tiara Brown for the WBC Women's Featherweight World Championship in June. Brown said of Hannah, "Hannah Rapp was the

best dance partner I have ever faced as a pro. When she asked for my autograph, it filled my heart because we were getting ready for war, yet she was still asking for my autograph. It made me smile. It was my honor to share the ring with her.”

Above all, Hannah treasured the people she loved and was fiercely loyal to her friends.

She shared a beautiful life in the Bryan-College Station community with her fiancé, William Pollalis, her soulmate and the love of her life. Together they adored their beloved dog, Ralphie. Whether traveling, rock climbing, hiking, cooking, playing pickleball, visiting the neighborhood dog park or simply spending time together, Hannah embraced every adventure with enthusiasm. Family was at the center of her world, and she cherished every opportunity to gather with those she loved, especially during the holidays.

Condolences have poured in from across the country and around the world as friends, teammates, coworkers, and members of the boxing community remember Hannah as a force of good and light in a world that often feels dark. Her legacy will live on through the love, compassion, generosity, and joy she shared with everyone whose life she touched.

Hannah is survived by her fiancé, William Pollalis, and their beloved dog, Ralphie; her parents, W. James Rapp of Muncie and Angie (Ryan) Grimes of Alexandria; her siblings, Tanner Rapp (Sidney Horsley) and Maggie Rapp (Ian Renbarger), both of Yorktown; Allison Grimes (Leland Moreland) of Lexington, Kentucky, Josh Grimes (Allison Hull) of Alexandria, and Wilson Grimes of Yorktown. She was delighted to become an aunt to Sophie Alspaugh and Alayna Noelle Rapp, Yorktown.

Also survived by her mimi Janice Crow of Muncie; her grandparents, Bill and Doris Rapp of Huntington; her future in-laws, John and Brenda Pollalis, grandmother Bert Grimes, Muncie; future sister-in-law, Sophia Pollalis (Nate Kallal); future brother-in-law, Raymond Pollalis (Sierra Helton) of Schererville; her aunts and uncles, Kathy (Bob) Boros of South Bend, Karon (Lance) Molenda of Porter, Lisa Goodpaster (Mark Wolfe) and Alison Holding, both of Muncie, Donna (Mark) Brewer of Katy, Texas, Vicki (Rick) Borgman, Amanda Danielle (Michael) Brown, and Kathleen Rapp of Huntington, Robin (Humberto) DeLuca, Indianapolis, Robert Grimes, Jacksonville, North Carolina, Rhonda Vaughn, Muncie; and her cousins, Jordan (Katy) Borgman, Amanda (Vernon) Hozey, LeAndra Goodpaster, Randel Goodpaster (Allison Swift), Riley Dickerson, Jensen Goodpaster (Daniel Smith), Lily Brewer, Abby (Jake) Warny, and Luke Brewer (Kaitlyn), Kym (Jason) Bango and Kelly (Jason) Wisniewski, Braelyn (Coty) Ensign, Jared (Tiffany) Molenda, Angelo DeLuca and Gabriella DeLuca, Seth Vaughn and Nick Vaughn and Domminick Grimes; second-cousins Rylee, Connor, Lilian, Carter, Colton, Cohen, Ezra, Adam, Kevin, Cady, Dexter, Sydney, Lacey, Amelia, Reagen and Shawn; along with many extended family members, dear friends, teammates she considered family, coworkers, and members of the boxing community who will forever cherish her memory.

In Heaven, Hannah is reunited with her beloved Pappy, Jerry V. Crow; her cousin, Jake Adams; her second cousin, Ewan; her cat Sofie and dog Bella Sara.

Candlelight Vigils will be held on Wednesday, July 22,

A Celebration of Life will be held in Texas on Thursday, July 23, 6-7 p.m. at Christland Church, 4050 Highway 6 South, College Station, 77845, with Pastor Såndor Paull leading. Visitation with the family will take place from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the church prior to the Celebration.

A second Celebration of Life will be held in Indiana on Thursday, July 30, 6-7 p.m. at Yorktown Middle School Gym, 8820 W. Smith St., Yorktown. Visitation with the family will take place from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. prior to the Celebration.

Friends and family are encouraged to wear Crocs and bright colors—especially those representing Yorktown High School, Purdue University, Texas A&M University, boxing club shirts or lime green, one of Hannah's signature colors.
