Harold Clayton Coil,65, of Muncie, IN died 9:10 p.m. Thursday September 20, 2007 at his residence in Muncie. He was born on July 14, 1942 in Albion, IN the son of Harold Dane and Donna Coil. On August 31, 1979 in Muncie, IN he married Leona Louise (Evans) Coil who preceded him in death in September of 2006.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
Surviving relatives include two sons, Chad Coil (wife: McGee) of Muncie, IN; Ted Coil of Muncie, IN; one daughter, Lori Gulley (husband: Brian) of Mooreland, IN; four grandsons, Gavin Coil of Dunkirk, IN; Zachary Coil of Hartford City, IN; Trent Gulley of Mooreland, IN; and Jordan Pryor of Hartford City, IN; two brothers, Dennis Coil of Albion, IN and Robert Coil of Wolflake, IN. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one son, Bryan Coil and one sister.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 25, 2007 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Pastor Sam Wrisley will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the union cemetery in Eaton, IN. Visitation will be on Monday September 24, 2007 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and also 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Ball Memorial Hospice or the Little Red Door Cancer Services of Delaware County. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
