Harold Burdell Storer, 84, of Eaton, died Friday afternoon, March 15th, 2013 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born December 29th, 1928 in Muncie, IN., and was the son of the late Daniel H. & Alma M. (Millhollon) Storer.
Harold retired in 1993 from the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier. He proudly and honorably served his country in the Army Air Force from 1946-1948. He built homes, farmed with his son, and enjoyed life. Harold was a very active man. He graduated in 1946 from Gaston High School.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Wanda Lee (Blakely) Storer of Eaton; three children Jeffrey A. Storer (Sherry) of Muncie, Linda L. Rieker (John) of Cairo, NY., and Susan K. Orr (Patrick) of Muncie; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Donna Keller of Jacksonville, IL., Joanne Parker (Harold) of Tuscan, AZ., and Carol Salian of Muncie; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Bush.
Funeral Services for Harold will be held Tuesday, March, 19th, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Garden View Funeral Home, with Pastor Dale Brenner officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
