Harry Richard Henman, 74, of Muncie died Saturday afternoon, March 5th, 2016 at his residence. He was born July 10th, 1941 in Muncie and was the son of the Late Harry E. & Alice L. (Watson) Henman.
Harry loved and enjoyed going fishing and hunting. He served for several years as a Boy Scout leader. Harry loved and enjoyed square dancing. He was employed by General Motors for 33 years and with Henman Engineering for 12 years, he also was a member of UAW Local 499.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Patricia A. (Stone) Henman of Muncie; his four children William "Bill" Henman of Indianapolis, Daniel "Danny" Henman of Indianapolis; Julie Vance (Larry) of Muncie; and Sherry Bumbalough of Indianapolis; three step-children Michael Hannon of Indianapolis, Melinda Anderson (Brent) of Wolcottville, and Charles Reynolds (Rhonda) of Muncie; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and four step-grandchildren; a brother Thomas Henman (Dixie) of Muncie; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Ann Folk and a brother Jerry E. Henman.
Funeral Services for Harry will be held Wednesday, March 9th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
