Helen F. Freeman, 86, of Muncie, IN died Thursday August 5, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Muncie, IN. She was born on January 3, 1924 in Mitchell, IN the daughter of Lander and Frances (Taylor) Hughes. On September 1, 1940 in Muncie, IN she married Paul Freeman who preceded her in death.
Helen loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with all her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed the outdoors, watching television, and being with all her friendly neighbors on Ribble Avenue in Muncie.
Surviving relatives include one son and one daughter, Micheal Freeman (Preswinda) of Muncie, IN; Pamela Rhonemus (John) of Muncie, IN; seven grandchildren, Darlena Freeman of Florida; Rodrico Mariano of Ft. Wayne, IN; Johnatan Mariano (Joy) of Texas; Johnna Oliver of Muncie, IN; Ritchie Rhonemus of Selma, IN; Margie Carter (Tim) in Lewisville, IN; and Marty Freeman (Jennifer) of Lowell, IN; eight great-grandchildren, Christian Mariano, Jenson Mariano, Jarrett Freeman, Cloe Freeman, Amanda Carter, Timmy Carter, Casey Oliver, Joshua Rhonemus; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters, and four brothers.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday August 9, 2010 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Pastor Denny Helton will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN. Visitation will be Monday from 1:00 until 3:00 at the funeral home.
