Obituary

Helen Lucille (Burton) Grahg, 93, of Muncie, passed away on March 2, 2020 at Golden Living Center.  She was born on November 4, 1926 in Randolph County to the late George E. and Lulu B. (Metz) Burton. She graduated from Ridgeville High School.   Helen moved from Ridgeville to Muncie in 1963.

To say that Helen did not stay busy with work duties, would be the farthest from the truth; as she worked for Colonial Baking Company for 32 years; Kraft Foods for 10 years; and Freedom Heating & Cooling for 10 years.  Helen was a member of the Gamma Beta Chapter of Pi Omicron Sorority; the Women of the Moose, Lodge 712; Academy of Friendship; past-member of Albany Business and Professional Women's organization; the Muncie Bowling League; and a volunteer for Multiple Sclerosis, Minitrista Center, and MDA.   She attended Industry United Methodist Church.

Helen is survived by her beloved and devoted son, Sid L. Grahg, of Dunkirk.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Michael Grahg; sister, Mildred Hartzell; and brothers: Lawrence Burton and Robert Burton.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel, with Pastor Steve Graves officiating. Garden View Funeral Home , 10501 N.
