Huey Ray Ramey, 88 of Muncie, died Sunday afternoon, June 24, 2018 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born September 2, 1929 in Garrett, KY and was the son of William & Martha Ramey.

Huey loved traveling, fishing and bowling. He proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Huey retired from Borg Warner after 38 years of services

Huey is survived by his daughter Anna "Jeannie" Brown of Muncie; son Mark Ramey of Muncie; four granddaughters Lynn Hicks (Buster) of San Antonia, TX, Beverly Brand of Muncie, Tammy Hicks of Muncie and Sarah Edwards (Brian) of Blacksburg, SC; four grandsons Joe Hicks of Muncie, Ed Hicks (Sonya) of San Antonia, TX, Paul Ramey of East Jordan, MI and Josh Ramey of Charlotte, NC; twenty-one great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Ella Ramey, a son Michael Ramey; infant twin son Keith Allen Ramey, infant daughter Patricia Elaine Ramey; a brother Bill Ramey.
