I. W. Emery's Obituary
LEXINGTON, KY - Emery, I. W., 86, widower of Faye Elizabeth Emery, died Thursday, January 7, 2010.
Born in Harlan Co, KY, he was a son of the late Ishmael and FiDella Emery.
A veteran of WWII, Mr. Emery retired from the U.S. Navy with the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer. After retirement he worked as plant superintendent with the Veteran's Administration.
He is survived by his son, John (Becky) Emery, Norfolk, VA; grandchildren, Bradley Michael and Stephen Kyle Emery; and sister, Daisy Owens.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Milward-Southland, Lexington, KY.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, 10703 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie, IN.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
