Ida M. Upchurch, 77 of Muncie, died Sunday afternoon, September 11th, 2016 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. She was born July 24th, 1939 in Somerville, TN and was the daughter of the late LeRoy & Laura (Brown) Montgomery.
Ida was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She was the proprietor of Upchurch Homes & Rentals. Ida enjoyed cooking, gardening, being a help to others, and talking.
Ida is survived by her two sons, LeDon and Gordon Upchurch both of Muncie; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Upchurch and a son Tyrone Upchurch.
Graveside services for Ida will be held privately in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Garden View Funeral Home.
