Isaac Lee Hunt, 71, of Muncie, IN passed away Sunday January 27, 2008 at his home after an extended illness. He was born on December 17, 1936 the son of Frances and Ruby Mae Hunt. He attended Royerton High School. On January 9, 1982 he married his loving wife Sandra Kay (Adams) Hunt of 26 years.
He worked at Chevrolet for 11 years. Isaac was also a construction worker for various companies, later becoming self-employed as a carpenter. He served in the Air Force from September 1954 until October 1957. He remained in the reserves until 1962.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Sandra Hunt of Muncie; two sons: Mike( wife-Pam) Hunt of Portland, IN; Tim(wife-Terry) Hunt of Hartford City, IN; one daughter Candice Clawson of Pennville, IN; nine grandchildren: Bronson and David Hunt, Dustin Miller, Kalen Roberts, Travis and Tyler Hunt, Rickie and Steven Hirst and Windi Clawson; eight great-grandchildren; one brother Richard(wife-Faye) Hunt of Eaton, IN; four step brothers Robert (Washington State), Max Mullins(wife- Jean) of Florida, Mike(wife-Deloris) of Eaton, IN, Eugene Mullins (Washington State); three step sisters: Wanda McCormick of Muncie, Etalca of Florida, sister-in-law Marge Mullins. Several nieces and nephews, a very special nephew Tony (wife-Dawn) Beeman. Two very special care givers: Vanessa Dull and Vivian Taylor of VNS Healthcare System. Other special care givers: Angel Amburn, Shirley Milton, Jane Lackey, and Amber Poe. Special friends Judy Wyatt and Andrea Irelan.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Francis Marion Hunt and Ruby Mae (Carter) Hunt-Mullins; a sister Jachlyn Beeman; and step-brother, Creed Mullins.
Services will be on Wednesday January 30, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN 47303. Pastor Linda Adams will be officiating the service. Burial will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be on Wednesday January 30, 2008 from 12:30p.m until 2:30p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Harris Chapel of the Nazarene Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
