Iva Mae Ballard, 94 of Muncie, died early Tuesday morning, February 20, 2018 at Liberty Village Health Care. She was born April 8, 1923 in Muncie and was the daughter of the late Earl H. & Eva Pearl (Dale) Jefferson.

Iva had worked many years in business world as an office employee. She loved being with and visiting with her family.

Iva is survived by two brothers Earl Jefferson (Carol) and Fredous Jefferson; twelve nieces and nephews Jerry York, Janet Goldman, Rick Carter (Mary), Phyllis Metcalf, Jeff McDonald-Jefferson (Rick McDonald), Drs. Steve Jefferson (Terry), Susan Young, Eddie Hines (Jeanne), Rev. Joe Hines (Madeline), Ruth Jefferson, Laura Corso, and Iona Jefferson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Woodrow Ballard, Lloyd & Jane Jefferson, Leonard & June Jefferson, Dorothy Jefferson Gray, Lois Jefferson, Ronald Jefferson, Wesley Jefferson and William Metcalf.
