James L. Glenn, 82, of Muncie, passed away at 7:16 pm, on January 20, 2026, at his residence in Muncie.  He was born in Lancaster, Kentucky, on July 30, 1943, to James E. and Pearline (Morris) Glenn.  He married Joyce I. (Hood) Glenn, who preceded him in death.

He graduated from Mooreland High School, Class of 1962.  He later worked for Delco Battery for 37 years until retirement in 1998.

He enjoyed going to car shows and spending time with local car enthusiasts.  He considered these connections as his second family and cared for them very much.

He is survived by his daughter, Marva (Quinton) Wright of Jamestown, TN and son, Ronald (Carol) Glenn of Jeffersonville, IN; sisters, Barbara Leffingwell of Mooreland, IN and Kathy (Danny) Morrison of San Antonio, TX; brother, Douglas B. (Rhonda) Glenn of Albany, IN; sisters-in-law, Joan Koger and Judy King; uncles, Earl Morris of Muncie and Roy (Sylvia) Morris of Muncie; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joyce, and sons, Jerry D. Sewell, II and Philip D. Glenn.

At the family's request there will be no services for James.

Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory in Muncie.
