James "Jim" Eppard, 80 of Eaton went to be with our Lord and Savior Tuesday evening, September 12, 2017 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Jim was born February 1, 1937 in Muncie and was the son of the late Elmer and Edna (Bright) Eppard.
Jim retired from Indiana Steel & Wire in 2001. He lived in Delaware County his entire life.
Jim is survived by his wife of 54 years Connie J. Eppard (Warner) of eaton; his four children Cindy Dorgan (Bob), Fred Wright, Karen Buck, and Jerry Eppard; four grandchildren Richard and Jeremy Dorgan, Misti White (Skip) and Ashli Buck (Jay Hines); great grandchildren Hunter, Keller, Vinny, Gavin, Killian, Kenny, Dreyden, Sydney, Rylan, Mia, Brayden, and Brantley; several brothers and sisters also survive.
Funeral Services for Jim will be held Monday, September 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Family and friends may call Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 2-6 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
