James McKinney, 90, passed away at his residence on May 19, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Hershel and Cleo (Wright) McKinney. He was born on October 20, 1931 in Pike County, Indiana.

He was a truck driver for 33 years for ANR.  He was also a veteran of the United States Army where he taught tank training for the soldiers  He enjoyed gardening, working on cars, especially his Packard,  watching western movies and he was an avid reader  He always loved spending time with his family, grandkids and being outdoors

He is survived by his wife of almost 68 years, Ruby (McCall) McKinney, their children Jim McKinney, Rod (Barb) McKinney and Cindy (Chris) Zumbaugh. 8 Grandchildren, 7 Great grandchildren and 1 Great Great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his son Ron McKinney, 2 brothers and 1 grandson.
