James Everett Neal, age 78 of Albany, Indiana, went to be with our Lord on September 20, 2019 at his home in Albany, Indiana surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Everett was born on August 25, 1941 in Chanute, Tennessee to the late Sherman and Vaine (Copes) Neal.

Everett truly lived life to its fullest through simple pleasures, spending time with his family, listening to his Audio Bible, and enjoying Gospel Bluegrass music.  Everett had a wonderful ability to reach people in a deep and caring way that only he could do.  Everett loved the Lord, his family, friends and life itself.

Everett is survived by his family including, a sister, Jane Schwartz (Amos) of LaGrange, Indiana; brothers, Ed Neal (Francis) of Danville, Kentucky, Ray Neal of Fargo, North Dakota, Thomas Neal (Carolyn) of Hillsboro, Ohio, Larry Neal of Ellensburg, Washington; sister, Linda Conrad (Steven) of Hillsboro, Ohio; a very special nephew and niece Bill and Kris Neal of whom Everett shared his life with for the past 17 years in Albany, Indiana along with several other nieces and nephews whom he adored and loved very much.

Everett is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, William Porter Neal, Cecil Neal, Arthur Neal; a sister, Flora Lee Hancock.

Friends may call from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N SR 3, Muncie, Indiana.  Services will follow at 4:00 p.m., with Pastor Mark Dill officiating.
