James D. Wilkins, 9 months old, died Thursday June 3, 2010 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN. He was born on September 3, 2009 the son of Damon Wilkins and Lashona K. Gilliard.
James loved to give hugs and kisses, dance, and play with his big brother and sister all the time. He truly loved dancing.
Surviving relatives include his parents of Muncie, IN, brothers and sisters, Destinee, Dezmon, Jamya, Damon, Jr. Wilkins, Zanyeja Price; grandparents, Nannie Robinson, Rosemary Wilkins, David Cooper all of Muncie, IN; great-grand mother, Auntie Brown of Muncie, IN; special aunt and uncles, Shawana Gilliard, Kimberley Benford, Quincy Jones -S.T., Dupree Bentley, Jamie Jackson (and wife), Jeffery Jackson (and wife), David Cooper, Jr. (and wife), Kino Cooper (and wife), his loving God Mother, Lacy Haffenden and Sweeter Robinson, several cousins, and all loving friends.
He was preceded in death by great-grand parents, Walter Robinson, Mary Robinson, and Margie Cooper.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday June 9, 2010 at Garden View Funeral Home 10501 North State Road 3 Muncie, IN. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Riley Children''s Hospital.
