James Wise, 76, of Muncie, went home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2010 at Ball Memorial Hospital.
Born on July 22, 1933 in Muncie, IN he is the son of John and Ethel Reynolds Wise; both who preceded him in death.
Jim loved his dogs, enjoyed coon hunting, training dogs, attending flea markets, wheeling and dealing with people, and relaxing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Dollie Rhum Wise whom he married on August 14, 1993; three daughters and two son-in-laws, Claudia and Larry Himelick of Livingston, TN, Angela and Troy Gore of Crossville, TN, and Jeannie Rouse of Yorktown, IN; a son, James T. Wise of Muncie; a brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Peggy Wise of Muncie; two sisters, Martha Walker and Marjorie "Jean" Walker of Muncie; a sister-in-law, Janet Wise of Muncie; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Claude, and John Wise, Jr.
Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010 at New Vision Family and Ministry Center, 901 East 26th Street, Muncie, with Pastor Gerald Holmes officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday evening at the church.
