Janet Carrol Baker of Muncie, Indiana passed away peacefully at the age of 81 in Muncie, Indiana on Saturday, April 24, 2021. She was born on July 8, 1939 in Muncie, Indiana to the late John and Dorothy Baker.

Janet graduated from high school and became a telephone operator, working for Indiana Bell for 35 years and then for Ball State University for 5 years. She was a long-time member of Glad Tidings Church and an avid Muncie Bearcats fan.

Janet is survived by her brother, James Baker (Lydia) of Minnesota and several nieces and nephews.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy (White) Baker and brothers, Donald Baker and David Baker.
