Janet S. Greene passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at the age of 88 at her residence in Albany, IN. She was born on November 28, 1932 to the late George M. Manuel and Sarah Josephine Bowen in Muncie, IN.

Janet graduated from Muncie Burris in Muncie, IN and served in the United States Army from April 1951 to December 1952. She worked as a Flight Secretary for the United States Air Force.

Janet is survived by her sons, Thomas E. Greene, Jr. of Scott, LA and Charles S. Greene of Albany, IN; daughters, Karen S. King of Albany, IN, Catherine LeGate of Sugarland, TX, Gwendolyn Galindo of Scott, LA, and Margaret Dugas of Scott, LA; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, George M. Manuel and Sarah Josephine Bowen; husband, Thomas E. Greene, Sr.; sisters, Marilyn M. Alamar and Joann Myers; son, Matthew Greene; and grandson, Kenyon Greene.
