Janet Sue (Nolley ) Trinder 68, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 14, 2011, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness, with her family by her side. Janet was born in Muncie on February 24, 1943, the daughter of William V. and Doris L. (Holdren) Nolley. She attended Muncie schools and graduated in 1961 from Warren Central High School in Indianapolis. She retired from the Indiana Department of Welfare in 1985. She enjoyed sewing, camping and fishing. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, by whom she will be truly missed.
Survivors include one son, Cary Cochran, Muncie; one daughter, Celia Breeding (husband, Phillip). Eaton; step-daughter Robin Trinder, Muncie; adopted son, Les Reese; one sister, Doris Anne Shafer (husband, Lee) Mooresville; six grandchildren; Gary Cochran, Muncie, Maia and Sara Cochran, Muncie; Chasidy Breeding, Henderon, KY; Lindsay Breeding, Evansville, IN; Brittany Breeding, Eaton. Three great grandchildren, Forrest Davis and Ara Browder, Henderson, KY and Jakiya Coates, Evansville, IN and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William and her brother, Gary Nolley.
Services will be Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1210 S. Hackley, Muncie, In with Pastor Dana Hill officiating. Calling hours will be from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the church. Memorial contibutions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or the Cancer Center @ IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. Please celebrate Janet''s life by wearing something purple, as this was her favorite color.
