Janet S Whittaker,  87, passed away on Monday May 23, 2022 at her residence with her family surrounding her. She was born March 8, 1935 in Gaston, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Otis P. and Eva M. "Haddin" Fouch, Sr.

She met and married Robert D. Whittaker on July 7, 1962, and he proceeds her in death.

She was a housewife of her own home. She was a Muncie resident all of her life. Family and friends loved her cooking. She loved to dance, sing, have fun and she was very stubborn and amazing woman.

She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary

She is survived  by Gerald l.(Fran) Ylovchan of Muncie, IN., Kelly Anne Cleveland of Muncie, IN., .11 grandchildren including Angie (Frankie) Chambers of Muncie, IN. and 28 great grandchildren including Jaden and Raeanna Chambers. She also had many nieces and nephews. Also her beloved dog Sophie. Lifetime friend Phyllis Lutton of Wheeling, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, daughter Cindy R. Madewell, two sisters Lucy M. Crow, and Patsy L. Ray, two brothers Otis P. Fouch Jr., and James R. Fouch.

Calling will be on Wednesday June 1, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Garden View Funeral Home at 10501 N. St. Rd 3 Muncie, Indiana Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Chaplin Phil Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens Of Memory Cemetery.
