Janice E. Ruble, age 80, of Muncie, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Morrison Woods Health Campus with her family at her side. She was born January 4, 1931 in Windsor, IN to William and Mabel (Chalfant) Clevenger. Janice was a member of Order of the Eastern Star at Parker, and loved to garden and read. She was an avid supporter of Delta High School sports and loved to spend time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She married Robert "Bob" Ruble on December 4, 1949 in Selma, IN and he survives her, as well as daughters, Sherry Butler, (husband Dan) of Noblesville, IN and Debbie Janeway, (husband Phil) of Indianapolis; sons, Brent Ruble, (wife Veronica), of Greenwood, IN, Chris Ruble, (wife Julie) of Newnan, GA, Craig Ruble of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and Bryce Ruble, (wife Jennifer), of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Mitch Butler (wife Abby), Matt Butler (wife Brianne), Trina Wray, (husband Josh), Lynette Delcourt (husband Bill), Jennifer Johnson (husband Wes), and Taylor, Bethany, Dylan, Danielle, Zachary, Mackenzie and Bailey Ruble; great grandchildren, Alexander Carpenter, Cassidy and Mia Butler, Luke and Ben Wray and Claire and Charlie Delcourt. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Joseph Vernon Clevenger and sister Emmabelle Alcorn.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd. 3, Muncie, IN 47303 with Pastor Randy Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The family requests memorial contributions to the charity of the donor''s choice.
