Jase Allen Michael Bird was born on October 8, 2018, at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana, to parents Rex Bird and Ashley Richardson. He passed away on February 25, 2025, at his home in Parker City, Indiana.

Jase was a bright and energetic kindergartener at Monroe Central Elementary, where he made friends easily with his kindness and infectious smile. He was a proud member of the Monroe Central Bear Wrestling Club, showing determination and strength beyond his years.

Jase had a big imagination and a love for adventure. He adored playing Minecraft and Fortnite, spending hours building and exploring. He loved Legos, cars, and monster trucks, and his passion for creating things extended to a dream of building houses for others when he grew up.

He enjoyed riding his bike, roller skating, and going to the park, always seeking the next thrill. He loved to swim, camp, boat, and fish—anything that let him explore the world around him. His Nerf battles with family were legendary, and he had a knack for making every moment fun.

Jase had a heart full of love and kindness. He was smart, strong, and endlessly curious, always wanting to help others. His confidence and sense of humor lit up every room he entered. He found joy in basketball, video games, and most of all, spending time with family.

Jase is survived by his parents, Rex Bird and Ashley Richardson; step-mother, Joann Burton;  sisters, Hannah Bird and Ashlynn Burton; brothers, Blake Blair and Landon Blair; grandparents, Brian Richardson, Kevin and Kimberly Ackison, and Randy and Cathy Bouslog; uncles, Jeffrey Bird (April), Chris Bird (Beth Ann), Adam Richardson(Chastity), Joshua Napolitano (Brittany), Aaron Richardson (Tiffany); aunts, Krishna Jones, Kelcey Sneed (Pierre), Kali Yust (Chris), and Jess.

Jase is preceded in passing by his grandmother, Kimberly Richardson; uncle, Shane Richardson; great grandmother, Martha Kay Cerustason; and great aunt, Cindy Napolitano.

Family and friends may call at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N St. Rd. 3, Muncie IN 47303, on Wednesday, March 5th, 2025 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. The Funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM at Garden View Funeral Home. Jase's time with us was far too short, but his impact was immeasurable. He will be remembered for his happy spirit, his caring heart, and the love he shared with everyone he met.
